Summer vacations are periods of your lifetime which are as precious as jewels, as enjoyable as life and like a memory cloud. 2017 acquired us with the treasure of reminiscence in India (our summer holiday) which I found a delight in memory of the Emirates flight fleeing us from London Gatwick to Hyderabad. In a brief overview, we got to Gatwick and waved goodbye to our dad; we flew from London to Dubai where we had a layover of 7 hours which elapsed quite quickly; we finally flew to Hyderabad, our arrival.
Emirates A380 Double Decker
Our captivation was the symbol of a glance on the Airbus A380-800 double decker that we flew on. I could feel the excitement dancing in my head and ready to burst out like the cork on a champagne bottle. As we passed the cabin crew, to our right was the staircase leading to the upper deck. The satisfaction was fulfilled after this sight due to it being our first impression.
Needless to say, Emirates is one of the best airlines with better enhancements compared to our previous flight in 2015. The seats offered were noticeably comfortable alongside the blankets and pillows which (I felt) were softer. Emirates has upgraded their entertainment system to I.C.E (Information. Communication. Entertainment) which is a new system with significantly better features. Personally, I found the new live camera feature exhilarating due to its option of switching angles and enjoying the outside view of the airplane. Additionally, there is an option for yourself to enjoy the free onboard wifi which I have never witnessed previously.
Minor Problem
We had a slight problem in the food as there was a mishap in our options however, the cabin crew assisted us perfectly so the issue was covered. The cabin crew’s support was mention-ably great because it was provided quickly and satisfaction-ally. Furthermore, there was a downside in the headphones which were quite painful; the crew couldn’t do anything about it therefore, I plugged in my earphones and everything was perfect! I must include that the headphones aren’t satisfactory though. In a review-type summary, it was a great journey flying with Emirates, occupying us with almost perfect services (four and a half star/ five).
Dubai Layover
Seven hours… What could you do?
We arrived Dubai during the night hours and an evident observation is that you can’t really tell whether it’s daytime or night in a closed airport, although, we figured it out. We completed all the connection requisites and moved to our gate where we spent the remaining six hours. In Dubai, these six hours whisked like powder flying in strong winds. Arguably, three hours were spent in comfortable naps; the rest of the time was visiting stores and beautiful areas. As a representation for the scale of Dubai International airport, we were roaming about between 20 gates in one course in a terminal out of three terminals. The layover vanished quickly and we weren’t immensely bored with the occasional snacking on Hershey chocolates.
Emirates Boeing 777
After our seven hours layover, we boarded onto the Boeing 777 which was our connection flight to Hyderabad (our destination). The triple seven had the same features as the airbus however, it was remarkably improved in the aspect of the seats compared to our previous journey with Emirates Boeing 777. The rest remains the same.
Emirates delivered a memorable flight journey for us with the accompaniment of reinforced changes. Booking your flight with emirates can be proceeded happily and if you do, enjoy your flight and holidays!
