Planning a visit to the breathtaking country, covered with the thick extension of beauty, in my account, is a wise choice. Switzerland, as perceived as it may be, is a country that everyone must visit to appreciate the gift of nature. We experienced some stunning and distinct adventures , including snow tubing from the top of the mountains, which unfolded many other options too. The pleasantly compelling scenery to endure for the eye, including the alluring lakes, the startling mountains and the splendid sights of the opulent waterfalls, is Mother Nature at her majestic best.
Everything is expensive
Switzerland is an independent country and it isn’t part of the EU hence the reason why they use a separate currency known as the Swiss Franc (CHF).
Switzerland has one of the highest costs of livings. You need to be precautious because everything in Switzerland is expensive. You won’t realise your spending and run out of cash before you even know it.
For example, a water bottle costs 3.25 Fr(£2.64 $3.39) and a summer visit will constrain you with heaps of this. Fortunately, from what I observed, there are sufficient amounts of tub-like water taps with a delightful offering of mineral water.

Additionally, the requisition of cash is recommended due to the acceptance of cash only in some area.
Swiss Start and End Early
In Switzerland, work starts even before you’re up and having your hot coffee – at 6am. On our fleet up to the top of Europe for doing some activities, we found ourselves lacking time as it closes early; the deterring of the ecstatic adventures happened even before we could retain it.
Furthermore, nightlife isn’t encouraged and a decision to venture out isn’t a great option after 10pm. Depending on where you live, your neighbours will find it uncomfortable and they will complain if any disturbance is caused. We arrived at our traditional Swiss apartment at Wilderswill, Bern very lately and we had planned for a walk in the beautiful hillside.

The neighbours shouted out for us to keep quite. At first we pondered who the shout was aimed at and then we comprehended that disturbance can’t be caused after 10pm from the hotel guidebook.
Speak Multiple Languages
Do the people of Switzerland speak Swiss?
If you have an unresolved understanding of what language they speak, well I can resolve it by answering that there is no such language as Swiss. Switzerland has four official languages: German, French, Romansh and Italian. The obvious reason is that, the languages are primarily based on the bordering countries.
It’s a Small Country
Switzerland’s borders in reality are smaller and quicker to travel across than you imagine. We covered north to south by car in a very respectable time of two hours, without even realising. The country, as small as it seems on the map, is practically the same whilst driving in a car on a real Swiss motorway.
Driving in Switzerland is a game of choices. If you choose to go down the heavy traffic under a lot of tunnels and spend more time driving, then the ordinary path is probably your preference. If you choose to speed through the motorways then make sure you jump onto the highway roads, because, you won’t particularly enjoy the other path.
The Swiss trains are widely known and relished vastly due to the amount of connections there are. Travelling within the compact country is a concise gift that I would definitely appreciate. Enjoy your brief and brilliant travels!
Beautiful Lakes and Mountains
Any journey to the Alps, perhaps a road trip, would certainly accompany you with the appealing water of the glistening lakes streaming past you with the essence of ecstatic nature shimmering down on your eyes. In Switzerland, you won’t take your mind off the crystal clear lakes that simply please your eyes to gape down at the emerald hues.

No Swiss trip is complete without a visit to the Alps. The mountains beautifully covered with a very thick blanket of snow that your eyes just can’t escape, is the magnificence that awaits your presence.
Profoundly, our Swiss trip was a virtuous selection due to the Alps. Whether you are an inadequate or a dispassionate hiker, the Alpine mountains provide you with daring and everlasting adventures throughout, including the cattle car journey. The tinkling of cow bells, the green valleys blending into pure white peaks, the awesome snow activities including snow tubing at the top, the stunning sights and trails are all emerging for your company. Can you possibly abandon the innocent whiteness of the Alps? You know, you want to be there, with the cheering snow…
Mt Titlis Peak
Be it a hillside, a garden or even mountains, where there are no Alps, greenery will satisfy you. Our paragliding experience treasured us with unforgettable views of green Interlaken with white filling of the Jungfrau Mountain in the background.

Swiss Chalets are Breath Taking!
The Swiss villages have their own style of apartments which are called Swiss Chalets. Our first impression of these apartments just couldn’t have made the day better… We stumbled on how elaborate the view was. Comfort, accessibility, furniture, view, you name it, the apartment would doubtlessly provide it all for a very reasonable price. Chalets hung with us; the apartment that we stayed in Wilderswill for two days inclined us to stay for longer. Now, Switzerland is waiting for your arrival and booking in a Swiss Chalet.
Swiss Pass is a Good Option
If you are prepared and consent to travel in trains, the Swiss pass is a potential saver that is viable to travel for cheaper and much more extensively. A plan to visit Switzerland for a week or more makes the Swiss pass a more flexible choice than buying train tickets.
The Swiss pass opens gates to over 480 museums and exhibitions and covers local trams and buses in 75 cities at a valuable price. Personally, this pass is a virtuous option contributing many sales and benefits for visitors who stay for long holidays.
Swiss Chocolate
The delightful munches of rich flavours that cover the indulgent cocoa are a passionate luxury, packed and produced in beautiful selection boxes by the well known Lindt. Nothing is more unavoidable or quite so tempting for your taste buds than the honourable charm from Swiss chocolate.
Lots of Watches Everywhere
Watches, watches and more watches! Swiss watches are indisputably everywhere! Save some time to stop by a Swiss watch store and allow the watches themselves to impress you maybe even convince you to buy them!
As much as Swiss brand large quantities of watches, Swiss don’t delay anything; they are particularly perfect on time. The Swiss trains were always on time.
Switzerland offers a very comforting time for you with a range of activities, stunning Mother Nature immersing beyond the expectations of beauty and lots of adventurous memories waiting for your arrival. We had a mind – blowing trip to Switzerland and I hope you enjoy your travels too!
